Scanning..
When FGCSS is launched it immediately searches for devices on the
configured HART bus (via a local Fieldgate FXA520). When found, appropriate
field devices are listed on the left-hand-side of the application window.
This collection represents those devices that require the applicaton of the test protocol. As a member of this list, each such device is assigned a button
with which to test individually.

Current Simulation Suite Searches for Applicable Devices on the Network
|
Ready for Testing..
After the scan has completed, all applicable devices are displayed in the left-hand panel. In addition, the running log of the session is displayed in the
right-hand panel. The applicaiton is now ready to execute current simulation
tests over the identified devices. The user may elect to run a test on a single device (by clicking the appropriate button for that device)
or can elect to test all devices in sequence.

All Devices Identified. Ready to run Simulation Test.
|
At the Click of a Button..
When a test is initiated, in this case over all devices, the user has the option of tweaking the parameters required by the run.
Specifically, the user may set the simulation current level, the delay for which this current should be maintained (and thereby the duration of the triggered
alarm), and how long to wait between devices.

Testing..
The simulation then executes to completion. Each device connection is made in turn and the testing protocol executed over its device variables to produce the desired result.
